A good assessment is the key to an effective treatment, both finding out about the history and the mechanism of a particular injury. Following a thorough assessment I will conduct a movement assessment, where I will discuss areas working well and not so well with you.
Using hands on treatment is a great way to get the body to change its movement patterns. I use a variety of different manual techniques to allow this to happen. Following hands on therapy I then use specific exercises to gain control and use the new movement. These will be highly specific to you and your bodies needs.
I compliment my treatment with the use of acupuncture, and I am qualified in both Eastern and Western techniques, including dry needling. I use electro acupuncture, GuaSha and cupping.
